First Swim Class of the Season

Now that Chris is cordless, and so excited to be such; yesterday he was thrilled to join baby brother in Swim Class.



The boys put on their Cars swimsuits, and were Raring to go. I could not keep them still, even in the locker room.



When we stepped outside, they didn't care that it was spitting rain. They got out there and danced in the rain...because it was swim class. Luckily for Mommy, the rain stopped in time for us to get in the water.



Literally danced his way down to the pool. But he mostly followed directions, lining up behind his friends Emily and Mary.



Sam cried the whole time, but Chris did wonderfully. He listed to his teachers. Actually he kept trying to get in the water. When they played ring around the rosie, and they all fell down, he went into the water.



Chris said he had fun. I'm so glad. He needed to join the regular summer crowd. And he told anyone that asked, "I got my tube out, so I can swim now!" The lifeguard teachers didn't care, they were just content to have a willing pupil. And that he was. He was really bummed they didn't let him get on the waterslides, I bet he's going to be really ready this year. Can't wait to take him swimming again. He'll probably be swimming on his own with now floaty by the summer's end!
