I plan on writing about Chris's trip to Disney World, but in the mean time, just because Mommy isn't writing, doesn't mean Chris isn't adorable.
Last night, in the tub, Chris picked up his plastic hippo and wrapped him into his washcloth. He stuffed the bundle into his biggest water cup, and told Daddy, "It's Baby Jesus!"
Daddy tried very hard not to laugh.
Then Chris unpacked the 'baby' and picked up the hippo, "Daddy, It's Not A Baby Jesus, It's a Hippo!"
He's feeling the Christmas time, playing with his Little People Nativity just like its any other toy. We've heard Jesus, come here. And I bet you didn't know that Jesus Growls. At the Camels. And Camels Growl back.
He's been a stitch lately, he's getting smarter. Last night, we were debating what we were going to do for dinner. Chris said, Ummm Bistits. (Biscuits). No we don't have any biscuits. I said, well, we have mix for making them from scratch but surely not....
Chris says, "If you took bistits (cook biscuits), I eat 'em." Daddy says, "If you drink your cocoa, I'll cook biscuits." He put the cocoa in his mouth. "I Drink Half."
OK, it's Biscuit bribery, so Eric caved, and made biscuits from scratch. They were good. Now for us, he smothered them in creamy chicken sauce, but then Chris didn't want to eat any. We asked if he'd like honey to dip (like Pooh). He said yes, but then when he dipped it, he'd make this face, he didn't like it. We asked him if he liked it, and he'd say Yes, but the look on his face clearly said no.
Oh well, he was easily distracted. Daddy got a birthday present this weekend, a new Wii. I'm not usually one for video games, but this one sure has some nifty stuff. Chris thinks so too. He's been playing along with Daddy. They have been very cute practicing things together. Chris likes Boxing in Wii, mostly because he can just Hit. Chris's favorite part is the walking people game. He requests it the most. He likes to have the Wii people, the Mii's, walk around and he hits them and makes their head balloon big, and he thinks it's hysterical. I guess I should be grateful, he could be into the more violent stuff.
