When trying to convince him to get dressed this morning, he told me, "Just diapers."
I agreed.
In other frustrating news, last week we made our annual Dr.'s visit to Riley to see Christopher's orthopedist. Our Last Riley visit for a while. To sum up: 2 1/2 hours to tell us he's Fine. We went for an x-ray, and Mommy (and Sam) weren't allowed in, which normally Mommy or Daddy is allowed. So we talked them into letting us observe, and they let us, and Chris stood for his x-ray. He did great, and earned the toys they gave him, which was good because then we had to wait an hour to get back to the doctor's area. I had 2 hungry dirty bottomed boys, and was close to losing it myself. We saw the nurse, a resident, and the doctor for about 1 minute each. All to tell us nothing with his scoliosis had changed, and that he was fine. See you next year. At least that makes me happy.
Here's Chris getting happy this past weekend.

So, Chris's words are changing. It's neat that is pronounciation is getting better, but at the same time, I'm going to miss the sweet way he's says things.
On Thursday he walked up to me and told me he wanted to "Get Dressed". That was the first time he told me 'Dressed', normally he tells me he wants to "Get Stret". Or is 'Mommy stret', or 'Daddy's stret'. But now he's saying Dressed. Big boy is getting bigger.
When great grandma was sick a couple months ago, we were often going to the hospital to visit her, never knowing when it was going to be our last visit. Chris came too, and not only did he figure out the way to the hospital, but he was saying it, "Hasabibble". He kept wanting to see "Drate Drate Drama in the hasabibble."
This week, he's calling it the Hospadiddle. I swear at one point I may have even heard him say Hospital, but when I asked him to repeat, it was Hospadiddle. Eric wondered if a hospadiddle is a hospital with one headlight out. He He.
We were visiting the Hospital because his friend Emily just got two new sisters, he Mommy had twins. Well, they're in the NICU so Chris had to spend the visits in the NICU waiting area where they had TV and Toys. That would have been nice, but Chris was not happy that he didn't get to see enough of his "Ommy" and when we left he was mad and told us "I wanna see some babies."
Don't worry baby, you'll see plenty of these babies, enough to make you tired of them.
